❤❤ PRODUCT REVIEW & SWATCHES - RIRI HEARTS MAC 2013 COLLECTION & GIVEAWAY ❤❤

PRODUCT REVIEW & SWATCHES - RIRI HEARTS MAC 2013 COLLECTION & A SMALL GIVEAWAY

Hey Guys,

I am sooooo excited to share with you the swatches and reviews of a few products I got from the MAC Rhianna Collection! When this collection was launched by MAC I was over the moon! I love Rhianna, like I seriously do! *Fangirl moment* So i jumped at the opportunity of procuring a few products from the collection. There are 3 lipsticks, 1 blush & bronzer combo and 1 lustre drops as a first part release of this collection. I can't wait for the rest of the collection to be released!!!

The 3 lipsticks are:
1) MAC Riri Woo Lipstick:  ($15.00 for 0.10 oz.) is described as a “matte cool red [with a retro matte finish].” It’s a deep, medium-dark red with strong cool undertones and a matte finish. This lipstick is inspired by MAC's famous Ruby woo but its a lot more different and a lot more moisturizing, also it has Rhianna's signature on it which I absolutely adore..
2) MAC Heaux Lipstick: ($15.00 for 0.10 oz.) is described as a “matte berry” with a “Retro Matte” finish. It’s a deep, berry-hued red with a matte finish. This lipstick has been compared to the MAC Rebel but I think they are poles apart.
3) MAC Riri Boy Lipstick: ($15.00 for 0.10 oz.) is described as a “matte vivid lavender” with a “Retro Matte” finish. It is a medium-dark, pink-purple with a matte finish. This is the one color I did not purchase as I am not into purples when it comes to the lips, they just don't suit me - thats all.

MAC Hibiscus Kiss Powder Blush Duo: ($26.00 for 0.37 oz.) is described as a “cool coral blush and matte neutral bronze duo.” Hibiscus Kiss Bronzer is described as a “matte neutral bronze.” It’s a medium-dark tan with warm, yellow-orange undertones and a matte finish. It has good, buildable color payoff with a soft, smooth texture that didn’t look powdery applied.

MAC Barbados Girl Lustre Drops ($20.00 for 0.60 fl. oz.) is described as a “rose gold bronzer.” It is a warm-toned, coppery bronze with a frosted shimmer-sheen. Blended out, it will add a coppery warmth to the skin along with flecks of golden copper shimmer and sparkle. This again I skipped on as I have too many Lustre drops lying around and have reviewed them previously here

What I got in total from the collection is The Hibiscus Kiss Blush and Bronzer duo and lipsticks in the shades Riri woo and Heaux. Lets cut to the chase and see the swatches and the beauties that these products are.

Riri Woo: My favvvourite out of the lot, I cannot express how much i adore this lipstick, I have the ruby woo but this still tops it! This is a not drying out your lips like the ruby woo formula that is semi creamy and easily lasts on me for 6 hours! Also did I mention how much I love the detailing of Rhianna's signature on it? The color is much more vibrant and is reportedly a personal favorite of Rhianna herself and Rita Ora! It is richly pigmented and you just need a couple of swipes to get you through the day!  I have swatched Riri Woo next to Ruby woo below and you can see that Riri Woo is much more brighter than the ruby woo and is not overly drying on your lips as the Ruby woo as it has a slight creamy sheen to it. I  ❤  it, thats all!

Heaux:  Heaux is not the type of color I don't usually go for but I wanted to be a bit more experimentive and try out different colors, I was told this was similar to MAC's Rebel lipstick which again is a cult favorite. So I thought why not try out the limited edition version of it, I did end up buying Rebel as well eventually. This lipstick is a gorgeous berry color which looks so flattering on me, being initially apprehensive about carrying off such a dark toned lip in public, I decided to start off with small shopping trips while wearing this (how ironic!) I went into a MAC store flaunting this lipstick and the SA there asked what lipstick I was wearing and told me that it was super gorgeous color! I whipped out (I always carry the lipstick I am wearing with me) my Heaux to show her! And now she wants one too ;)  I have swatched the MAC Rebel next to it and you can see that Rebel is more towards a deep purple and Heaux is more berry!

Hibiscus Kiss Powder Blush Duo: This product had me sold! The Bronzer is apparently a dupe of the NARS Lauguna, which I highly doubt because this is much lighter and a bit more shinier. And the Blush is just the perfect pinkish coral blush. I highly recommend this if you are into bronzers, as this duo is definitely travel friendly and the blush is a very unique cool coral.
